I hope you enjoy my pages.  At this site you will find stories from the past years of my "on and off" the road.  I all ways loved to travel and my Christmas News letter name is "Ehrlich Times: On the Road Again".  These stories come from some of the past newsletters and some from stories I wrote after my husband died.

These memories, of course, are one sided and I am sure he would have told them in a much different manner.  I always have tried to include a little sense of humor in each story so I hope you can find it.  My father loved to tell a good tale and some were quite off colored.  I will never forget the first time he told one and I understood the punch line.  I was not sure if I should understand it or not!

I will be including pictures along with the vignettes. I always liked a story with pictures.  I think they help bring the story to life.  One story is when friends, Loras and I were first married and we would play cards every Saturday night.  What fun it was.  I am not sure young couples do these things now.  We would get together with cheep meals and card games or just a few chips and dips and card games.  Guess I am not young anymore.  But fun, we did have that.  I can't remember anyone getting drunk but tipsy-a few and one fellow always had to have his wife drive him home.  It was always bring your own to drink and most just brought a few beer.  As babies came the number of friends that would come slimmed down.

There are other stories and other times.

Molly is my joy and the one I am watching.  She is a bright little girl, just like all little ones.  Of course I think she is the smartest, highest IQ, top of the class, going to be president one day kind of child.  What grandparent doesn't think of theirs as being the best?

William is a fun kind of guy.  His band is great.  At times he doesn't always agree with what I think, I know I am right.  They are in the process of having their first CD pressed and will have the release party in June.  I am excited about the whole thing but do not dare offer any suggestions.  It is called "Mother, back off".  A lot of his life is "MBO".

I hope you will enjoy my stories and the pictures.  Of course plenty of pictures of my princess.
